How we ensure quality
Qfix ensures quality through close collaboration with tailors from across the country. Every tailor in the network is vetted during onboarding and is continuously assessed based on quality and customer satisfaction via the platform.
Meet Johan, who manages all customer relations between Qfix and our tailors. Johan has extensive experience in the field and knows the industry inside out.
How long have you been seeing a tailor?
I have worked in the clothing industry for over eight years and have therefore been in contact with tailors for much of my professional life. Through my work with Qfix, I have gained even deeper insight into the industry and now meet tailors regularly all over Sweden. This has given me a good understanding of the profession, working methods and the challenges that tailors face in their day-to-day work.
How can you tell if a tailor is qualified?
It’s about more than just looking at the end result. Among other things, I look at how the tailor works, how they assess different garments and materials, and how well they can explain what can actually be done. An experienced tailor often has a highly trained eye for fit, construction and materials, and can quickly identify both possibilities and limitations. Having been in the industry for a long time, I’ve also learnt to spot many of the small details that distinguish professional work from work of a lower standard.
What happens if a tailor doesn’t meet the standard?
Quality is extremely important to us because, ultimately, it is the customer’s garments and experience that are at stake. If we notice that a tailor consistently fails to meet the standards we expect, we will first engage in dialogue to try to understand what has gone wrong and whether there is scope for improvement. If the quality still falls short after that, we may decide not to continue the partnership. The aim is for the customer to always feel confident about handing over their garment via Qfix.
